What a wonderful host! - We stayed at the Mill of Eyrland for three nights in August and we were very impressed with the warm welcome by Morag who would go far and beyond to meet our needs. It is a lovely place, quiet with beautiful features of the old mill reminding you its past, which was comfort and warming. We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay and would come back if only it was closer.

Lovely stay with a knowledgeable local host - Our family of five (plus our small daschund) stayed in the family suite for a week. This is a very characterful property. We benefitted from the extensive local knowledge of our host Morag, who was able to advise on local customs and areas of interest to explore. It is an ideal location, close to main sites of interest whilst being in a rural location. Breakfasts featured lovely fresh fruit and bread made from an ancient barley grown in Orkney. Morag was very accommodating when we unexpectedly had to extend our stay due to an issue with a ferry. Highly recommended!

Another wonderful stay! - I highly recommend a stay here! I have stayed here before and will do again. Guaranteed an authentic Orcadian hostess in Morag- so gracious. The Mill is impeccably cleaned, the breakfast is amazing and nothing is too much trouble, great location, on-site parking- the list goes on! I can not say enough about the Mill- positively stay here for a positive experience!
