The Mill of Eyrland is a beautifully converted water mill in an idyllic setting by a stream with wild trout and ducks. The mill's original workings are retained and are open to view. With its central location deep in the neolithic heartland of the Orkney mainland it offers an excellent base for people interested in touring the historic sites, fishing, cycling or walking. Offering a rustic and romantic feel to your stay, complemented by candle lit dinners and the local welcome, the mill will certainly take you to a slower pace to help you unwind from the daily grind. We are open throughout the year. All bedrooms have television, tea and coffee making facilities and the master bedroom has a four-poster bed. The family/double/single en-suite bedrooms are all centrally heated. Long stay discounts are offered. Private Parking. Packed lunches and evening meals made from quality local produce are available by arrangement. Laundry facilities on request.
